Our Story
We’re Ekansh and Aashi - siblings, Co-Founders of EPRA Farms, and lifelong lovers of all things sweet. We grew up in a home where chai was a ritual, festivals meant homemade mithai, and dessert was never optional. From gulab jamuns during Diwali to tiramisu at every café visit, sugar was part of our everyday joy.
But over time, we started noticing something.
The same sweetness we loved was quietly becoming a problem. Blood sugar spikes. Constant cravings. Diabetes becoming personal, not just a statistic. And every “healthy” alternative we tried either ruined the taste or was filled with ingredients we couldn’t even pronounce.
We didn’t want to give up sweets.
We wanted to fix them.
EPRA Farms didn’t begin in a boardroom. It started at our dining table, with one simple question:
Why should enjoying sweetness come with a health penalty?
That search led us to monk fruit - a natural, plant-based sweetener used globally but barely known in India. It didn’t spike blood sugar. It wasn’t artificial. And most importantly, it didn’t destroy the taste of chai, kheer, or cake.
That was our starting point.
We launched EPRA Farms not as a trendy health brand, but as a mission-driven food company focused on fixing the basics. Sugar is just the beginning. We believe clean, functional food should be simple, transparent, and accessible - not confusing, chemical-loaded, or overpriced.
We’re not here to preach a sugar-free life.
We’re here to make sweetness smarter.
This is personal for us. It’s not just business. It’s about helping Indian families enjoy food without compromise - without fear - and without sacrificing tradition.
We’re just getting started.
